The Poças Visitor Centre is located in the historic centre of Vila Nova de Gaia, very close to Devesas train station, and was opened to the public in 2016. Completely renovated in 2018 by architects Lúcia Vaz Pato and António Mota, this space offers a warm and welcoming experience to all visitors.
The cellar is currently home to more than 800 casks containing some of the most precious wines in the Poças collection: the renowned Colheita and the Tawny Ports with an indication of age. Poças would like to take you on a journey through its past, present and future, with the opportunity to get to know the history of this 100% Portuguese company and of the demarcated region of the Douro, with the bonus of getting to see a working cellar and cooperage at close quarters.
You will find out everything you need to know about the production of Port, and what it is that gives this wine its special place in the world.
Our shop offers the full classic range of Poças Port and Douro DOC wines, as well as some special editions, with assistance always on hand to help you choose the right wine for you.
